At Bonito Beauty Bar, we use a cautery technique to remove skin tags. The process involves carefully burning the skin tag off using a precise electrical current. This method ensures the skin tag naturally falls away while sealing the wound to minimize the risk of infection or bleeding.

There is typically little to no downtime after skin tag removal. You may experience mild redness or swelling at the treatment site, which should subside within a few hours to a couple of days. You can generally resume your normal activities immediately.

Skin tag removal is generally safe with minimal risks. Some possible side effects include slight redness, swelling, or scabbing at the treatment site. Rarely, scarring or pigmentation changes may occur, but these are uncommon and typically resolve over time.

After the procedure, it is essential to keep the area clean and avoid picking at or scratching the site. We recommend applying any prescribed ointments and avoiding sun exposure or tight clothing that may irritate the treated area for a few days.
